BANTAMWEIGHT REMATCH ON GUILTY SHOW AUG. 12 IN TIJUANA

Two vaunted bantamweight bangers–Jesus Rios of Guasave, Mexico, and Francisco Paredes of Mexico City–meet for the second time when they clash in the 10-round main event on the nationally and internationally televised “Guilty Fight Nightâ€? card presented by Guilty Boxing Friday, Aug. 12, at El Foro in Tijuana.
The two have halted more than 90 percent of their opponents. The 21-year-old Rios has 17 knockouts while achieving a mark of 19-2 while the 30-year-old Paredes has 12 knockouts en route to a record of 13-10.
The main event is a rematch of their fight on a Guilty Boxing card Dec. 3, 2004, in Tijuana. Paredes upset Rios in that bout, scoring a ninth-round knockout. But Paredes had to survive a second-round knockdown before landing the left hook which ended their first encounter.
