RANDY TALKS ABOUT NEW “CHAMPS” RAHMAN & MAYORGA
By Boxing News August 14th, 2005

So now Hasim Rahman is an “interim” heavyweight champion and Ricardo Mayorga has won a world title in a second weight class. What does it all mean for the future of their respective divisions? That subject is discussed on the latest edition of Randy’s Ringside, co-hosted by Charles Jay along with color commentator and former Ring Magazine editor Randy Gordon.
Randy will critique the performances of Rahman, Monte Barrett, Mayorga and Michele Piccirillo and take a look ahead at how last night’s winners might do against heavyweight Vitali Klitschko and the winner of next week’s Fernando Vargas-Javier Castillejo fight. And Jay will play the devil’s advocate just enough to keep the conversation going full tilt.
