HBO TO REPLAY BARRERA–MORALES III, DLH-MOSLEY I

As a special preview for HBO Boxing fans leading up to the much anticipated September 17th pay-per-view bouts featuring Marco Antonio Barrera vs. Robbie Peden and Shane Mosley vs. Jose Luis Cruz, HBO Sports will present the exclusive re-broadcast of two classic battles waged by Barrera and Mosley, respectively.

On Friday, Sept. 16 at 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT), the HBO2 service will replay Barrera vs. Morales III. The decisive match took place on November 27, 2004 in Las Vegas and was scored in Barrera’s favor. The rebroadcast will also feature the memorable June, 2000 bout between Oscar De La Hoya and “Sugar” Shane Mosley. On that memorable night in Los Angeles, Mosley scored a split decision triumph. The two-fight package will also play on HBO2 on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 9:00 a.m. (ET/PT).

Then on Saturday night, Sept. 17, the “Parade of Champions” pay-per-view telecast will showcase some of boxing’s biggest names. Barrera squares off with Peden in a world unification showdown, while Mosley takes on the unbeaten Cruz from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. HBO Pay-Per-View will televise the action at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT.
