UNBEATEN ARNAOUTIS HEADS FRIDAY CARD IN VEGAS

“Mighty� Mike Arnaoutis of Atlantic City, N.J., ranked No. 4 by the World Boxing Organization and the WBO’s North American Boxing Organization super lightweight champion, faces Marteze “Too Sweet� Logan of Covington, Tenn., in the main event on the nationally and internationally televised “Guilty Fight Night� card promoted by Guilty Boxing Friday, Sept. 2, at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.

The undefeated Arnaoutis, who also is ranked No. 12 by the International Boxing Federation and No. 24 by the World Boxing Council, has a record of 13-0-2 with six knockouts.

Logan has a record of 20-17-2 with five knockouts and has gone the distance with two former world champions and the current No.3 welterweight in the world.

Guilty Boxing’s “Guilty Fight Night� telecasts are seen domestically on America One, Comcast Sports Chicago, DirecTV, Dish Network and The Urban Network; in Europe, Africa and middle eastern countries on Fox Sports International; in Europe and Africa on BEN Television; in the Caribbean on WCVI Super Station; and in Japan.

The 26-year-old Arnaoutis, originally from Greece, won the WBO’s NABO 140-pound championship Oct. 22 in Santa Ynez, Calif., with a first-round knockout of Jesse Feliciano.

Arnaoutis successfully defended his NABO championship in his most recent outing Feb. 18 in Santa Ynez with a 12-round decision over Roberto Santa Cruz.

Logan, who is in his 40th fight despite being only 21 years old, has gone the distance with former WBC super featherweight champion James Leija and ex-IBF junior lightweight champ Stevie Forbes. In his most recent outing Aug. 4 in New York City, Logan went the distance with the WBO’s No. 3-ranked welterweight, Emmanuel Clottey.

Six-round bouts include: super lightweight George Bjania of Los Angeles (2-0, 0 KOs), super featherweight Juan Garcia of Phoenix (5-0, 5 KOs), super bantamweight Joel Santiago of Las Vegas (5-0, 2 KOs) and bantamweight Juan Carlos Santiago of Las Vegas (7-6-1, 2 KOs). Opponents for these four boxers will be determined.

A four-round fight features cruiserweight Aaron Williams of Las Vegas (3-0, 2 KOs) against an opponent to be determined.
