Jones’s career has become a joke. I could knock that b*m out. What’s a fast gun fighter’s worth if he doesn’t pull the trigger. Go play with your Roosters Reluctant Roy.

  2. Rodney Says:

Please, Roy’s just in one of those situations where another fighter has his number (Shane Mosley/ Vernon Forrest). All the bum talk is ridiculous - he would still be a decent fighter if continued, but why? He has nothing left to prove and every fighter’s time runs out. Roy is no different.. He’s still one of the best fighters out there - can’t change the fact of 4 different weight classes!!!!!!!!!!!! Including Heavyweight.

  3. ROB Says:

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU ROD1 … JONES HAS NEVER EVER WANTED TO GET HIT … THIS CONSIDERING THAT HE’S HAD ALL THIS TALENT … HE’S ALWAYS MADE FOR BORING FIGHTS. I CAN SEE WHY HE LIKES TO PLAY WITH FOWL.

  4. Ronald Says:

I am a physical trainer and I can tell you that any athlete who loses 25-30 pounds of pure muscle in 5-6 weeks will never be the same again. Plus to do it at the age that Roy Jones is at will destroy a boxer’s frame. Neither Tarver or Jones looked good in the fight. Boxing is a scoring game first and if a knockout happens then that is it. Tarver won the fight because he jabbed or tried to hit Roy in those boring rounds. Tarver hit a lot gloves and basically landed one good punch in the fight.

  5. southpaw Says:

For all you fool’s that think that Roy Jones will reclaim his glory day’s of old. Think again it’s all over! Roy Jones was an amazing fighter first and foremost. His skills would have given any light-heavyweight trouble, back in his prime that is. Roy Jones’ chances of discovering his skills and ,most importantly his championship mentallity are long gone!!! Ali got old,Tyson got old, and now Roy Jones is too old. Stick a fork in him cause he’s done
