Tallent: FLOYD MAKES THE “JUMP” WITH MORE SPRING IN HIS LEGS

Normally, I would be coming up with all the catchy clichés: “A boxer can move up in weight class but not bring his punch with him.â€? …….“Putting on a little extra weight will cause the fighter to lose a half a step.â€? Those bread and butter statements will not ring true for Floyd Mayweather when he makes his fourth jump in weight class to welterweight this Saturday. The only problem is that his opponent, Sharmba Mitchell, is doing the same thing. While Mitchell is likable, he is not in the same class as “Pretty Boyâ€? Floyd at any weight whatsoever. The fact that Mayweather is making this jump is interesting, but Saturday’s fight will prove nothing. Mayweather by TKO.

i think mayweather is going to have trouble with mitchell stylein the early rounds. mayweather by ko late in the fight.

I dont think this fight is a “joke” per-say because Mitchell at least has a heart beat, but I dont think it is relivant in the whole scheme of the pecking order. Last crap fight Floyd…next 3 fights have gotta be barn burners…RJ RJ RJ

nobody in 140-147 divison will beat floyd because what people don’t realize is this guy is not only an great offensive fighter he has a hell of a defense

floyd mayweather is the best pound for pound boxer in the world today. his style of boxing is almost flawless on offense and defense. those who don’t like him are haters because he beat their best fighter or just dont like him because of his confidence. it is about time we have a good fighter without all the bad-boy baggage - maybe even a role-model. floyd keep up the good work, your biggest fan………………….

People cried that he never fought anyone and that he would dodge Gatti….he fought Gatti and made him look stupid, now once again people are jumping on the “he hasn’t fought anyone” bandwagon. When you make the best look like the worst…you’re never going to fight anyone.
