Will Kostya Tszyu Step Into The Ring Ever Again?

Is that all she wrote for Kostya Tszyu?

It’s looking less and less likely that Russian-born slugger Kostya Tszyu will make his way back into the ring, and give the savage science one more go.

Tszyu, age 37, said he’s enjoying life away from the rigors of the game and his family has made no secret of their stance on a comeback bout.

“The people who do not like me as a boxer, the people who like me as a person, my family and friends, do not want me to fight again. They’ve seen the good stuff, the bad stuff, the pain,â€? Tszyu (31-2, 25 KOs) told an Australian radio station. ”Their honest opinion is that I should not fight again and I need to respect that.”

In his last appearance, Tszyu, then the IBF junior welterweight champion, lost to Ricky Hatton (TKO11) in Manchester, England on June 4, 2005.

Hatton has tossed that belt in favor of a shot at the WBA welterweight title, now held by Luis Collazo.

Word is, the IBF wanted Tszyu to contend for the title that Hatton wrested from him.

I think kostya should not fight again. Unless he want to tarnish his legacy as a boxer, but does he really have a legacy? I dont know. if he does get back in the ring I would like to see him fight maybe cory spinks.

Tszyu needs to man up and rematch Hatton! I think Kostya had a bad night that night and can beat Hatton if he comes into the fight with his head on right.
