Joe Tessitore likes Yusaf Mack on Friday Night Fights

ESPN play-by-play man Joe Tessitore was kind enough to check in with TSS from Florida and give us the lowdown on tonight’s Friday Night Fights super middle main event.

Tessitore hasn’t steered our readers wrong yet, and says that tonight’s headline attraction will be a goodie.

“I like Yusaf Mack (22-0-2, 14 KOs) in a thrilling fight,” Tessitore says. “I think Alejandro Berrio (24-4, 23 KOs) tests him good and lands a big shot at some point. But I think Mack is more skilled and times him and counters him. He may even floor Berrio.”

Go out on a limb, Joe. Who wins?

“Mack has lots on the line and tons of confidence,” Tessitore says. “I like Mack by late TKO in a well-fought, hotly contested fight.”

The Philly fighter Mack is 26 years old. The Colombian Berrio is 29.
