Ali Battles Childhood Obesity With Product Line

The Greatest’s fight against the Battle of the Bulge

Muhammad Ali has stepped up his endorsement affiliation.

The former Black Flag roach killer pitchman has linked with candy company Mars Inc. to develop a health-snack line aimed at battling child obesity.

The low-calorie food line, UPI reports, which will include fruit snacks and other baked goods, will be shaped liking boxing paraphernalia with names like Rumble, Shuffle and Jabs.

This is Ali’s first foray into foodstuffs with his company, GOAT (Greatest of All Time) Food and Beverage.

If this product line truly makes it out of the idea phase and onto shelves, I will be surprised. The idea, while novel, may be past its prime. Ali hasn’t been in the public eye for some time, and most children will be unmoved by his iconic status among adults of a certain age. Is this gambit simply a money grab attempt by someone or someones in his life? That’s a cynical take, and hopefully, this project is on the up and up. All those waddling kiddies do need help…
