Pacquiao-Larios on PPV from Manila

Manny “Pac-Man� Pacquiao meets former junior featherweight champion Oscar “Chololo� Larios for the WBC International junior lightweight title in Araneta Coliseum in Manila, Philippines tonight. The fight card will be televised.

When first mentioned the fight seemed to be a blowout victory for Pacquiao, but some problems making weight may change the balance toward Larios. This is the first fight for the Mexican at the junior lightweight level. He formerly fought two weight divisions lower.

Any time weight issues come to play you can believe that the balance of power shifts. In this case, a fight that was expected to be a blow-out for Pac-Man could be problematic. Larios is no slouch. He’s just accustomed to fighting smaller guys and he doesn’t punch very hard.
