Reports surfaced last week that Pacquiao, who is in the prime of his career as an active fighter, may be dipping his toes into the Manila political scene, as a sub-Mayor to candidate Ali Atienza.
But Pac Man’s manager and promoter Wakee Salud said yesterday that the boxer should concentrate on his boxing career first, rather than divvying up his time and energy with two insistent mistresses.
Salud, a confidant of Pacquiao, said to the Manila Standard: “Manny’s career is blooming right now and he should not enter politics. Not now, anyway. Manny likes to help his countrymen.”
Salud said: “It will come when his career is over.”
At the top of Pacquiao’s to do list, of course, is his Nov. 18 tussle with Erik Morales. The 27-year-old Filipno is 1-1 against the Mexican technician…
