Trainer Freddie Roach Talks Smack
By Uncategorized August 29th, 2006Trashing talking trainer takes aim at Morales’ hunger
I tend to regard Freddie Roach as a benevolent tutor type, but the man has a knack for trash talking.
His guy Manny Pacquiao (42-3-2) will get it on with Erik Morales for the third time on November 18, at the Thomas & Mack Center, and the mischievous Roach took the opportunity to poke fun at Morales, who is like he’s far, far, far away from the super featherweight limit. I’m guessing junior middleweight, maybe more…
“On November 18, Manny Pacquiao will have Erik Morales eating his heart out,” Roach said. “And by the looks of Erik at the recent press conference, that seems to be the ONLY thing Erik hasn’t eaten.”
Joking aside, this corpulence does not bode well for Morales, who is on a two fight losing streak, has been in more wars than the Israelis and the Palestinians, and is a relatively ancient 29. The 48-4 Morales of course has ample time to trim down but that is both a mental and physical strain, while Pac Man stays reasonably close to 135 pounds in between fights.
If I was a bettin’ man, recent photographic evidence that Morales is indulging in any and all eats would send me to the window to plunk down major moolah on Pacquiao to go to 2-1 against the legend from Tijuana…
August 29th, 2006 at 12:50 pm
November is a long way off. And remember, Morales was fighting pretty well in the second fight, till Manny overpowered him. Man has guts…have to give these guys credit.
August 29th, 2006 at 2:10 pm
I think alot of people including Roach are under estimating Erik Morales. I think everyone is in for a very big surprise come November 18, 2006. Erik is fighting for his Career and this is one of the biggest obstacles right now. I do not believe Pacquiao is going to take this one. I think we are going to see a Morales we have not seen in a while. Go Erik!!!
August 29th, 2006 at 5:50 pm
We’ll just see what happends on that day. But beware Morales fans, don’t be surprised.
August 29th, 2006 at 5:53 pm
As I looked, Morales trained hard for the third encounter together with his Doctors, Nutritionist, and Weight experts. Pacquiao is so busy today with lots of distraction in his training. If it is continious, I go with MORALES. If Pacquiao will live the Philippines as early as of now like he had prepared in their last fight, I go with PACQUIAO. But if Morales can reach the 130-lb limit without losing his strength and if Pacquiao will train also hard, I think this will be a good fight and I will go for a DRAW.
August 29th, 2006 at 6:29 pm
I think Morales will beat Paquiao this November 18.
August 29th, 2006 at 6:35 pm
Although im a pacfan. I hope that they would not underestimate Morales. This is a Career defining moment for Morales. So Pacman team should be very prepaired. Go Pacman!
August 29th, 2006 at 6:54 pm
Underestimate Morales???
Not even Roach underestimates Morales.
They did that in the first fight and look what happened.
But then they got it together and beat Erik brutally the 2nd time around.
Morales is getting older, and heavier, and Manny is getting better.
You can’t tell me Morales is at the peak of his career.
I’ve seen him better.
He’s draining himself to make weight, while Manny is doing light jogs to maintain weight.
Morales is gonna be in the same state he was in the 2nd fight.
He’s gonna run out of gas, and he’s gonna complain that he was tired from losing all the weight.
It’s not Manny’s fault he’s tired of making weight.
That’s part of the boxing match.
Making the weight. Comfortably or not.
Even if he wins the early rounds, he’s going down towards the end.
Manny.
By a longshot.
August 29th, 2006 at 6:54 pm
Erik’s long preparation and conditioning will give Manny a hard time during their fight come November, especially the championship rounds.
August 29th, 2006 at 6:55 pm
How can EM turn the hands of father time who is calling him loud and clear?
Has EM seen Mohammed Ali fighting Holmes before Ali retired? That is the closest comparison I can see in this Pacquiao-EM III fight.
Pacquiao is in top his game while EM is on a losing streak and seem to be on the way down….how can EM reverse the irreversible? that father time is catching up on him………..and he will be caught, no doubt about it!!!!
August 29th, 2006 at 6:59 pm
naaaaa…if morales cut off his two legs then he can be able to reach the 130 pounds weight for the fight.its very hard to trim down if ur weight is beyond the ark..manny “pacman” pacquiao will destroy erik morales and sent him to retirement in november 18,2006.. go manny….mabuhay pilipinas!!!!
August 29th, 2006 at 7:04 pm
I still believe that Manny can beat again Erik on their 3rd fight. No matter how many experts Morales has emplyed, it is still can not change the outcome the fight. Manny will win by a knockout again!!!
August 29th, 2006 at 7:08 pm
Hey, we’ve seen enough from Erik, and we are not surprised when he knelt and beg Manny ” por favor mi amigo, I can’t take it anymore.”
Before the fight last January Erik rated Manny 5 to a sclae of 1 - 10 where 10 is the highest. Manny came and make him beg in round 10. now he says Manny is a good fighter, that means Manny is now rated 8 as equivalent to good/fair. With the rate 5 Manny trampled Erik, I expect more now that Erik think Manny’s a good fighter.
Erik is arrogant, he thinks he’s better than his opponents. When he lost to Marco he said Marco’s playing dirty, when he lost to Saher he said he wasn’t well prepared and so with Manny’s fight. But guys let me tell you this: Erik is going to eat all what he said.
August 29th, 2006 at 7:09 pm
These two guys will be just about even, physically come November 18. But having been beaten black and blue and eventually knocked out the last time, it’s Erik who is mentally beaten. If Manny trains as he did the last time. he’ll knock out Morales, IMO.
August 29th, 2006 at 7:13 pm
I think Frediie Roach has the nasty habit of demontrating phsywar against the Erik Morales camp, under estimating the warrior from Tijuana come Nov. 18 Grand Finale. You would notice that if FR maintains silence for the rest of the days, believe me his man Manny Pacquiao is meant to be in serious trouble with Erik Morales. But for FR to be talking a lot like this time, it means that the Filipino icon is in perfect condition and Erik Morales is the one in serious trouble.
August 29th, 2006 at 7:14 pm
i don’t think i will be surprised. You won’t believe in Manny’s heart and determination, i do. we will see. good luck to both fighters. but i would love to see your morales kiss the canvass.
August 29th, 2006 at 7:14 pm
I can see that Erik morales will give his best shot but i don’t think that Pacman will not give his best shot either. So this fight are much more of a conditioning. Who gets the best conditioning will win. Meaning, both fighers are great. They both have power and skills but whoever has the best condition at 130 lbs will have a huge advantage and I can sense that the Pacman has the edge because he didn’t bulge as much as 140 lbs. Unlike El Terrible in which the last time we saw him has a puffy face and weighing around 145 - 160 pounds. So, it’s hard to have a gruelling fight (especially with Pacman) coming from a reduce weight even you had experts (nutritionists, etc) on your side. Pacman will do it again!
August 29th, 2006 at 7:27 pm
i think roach just express what felt about morales.. because roach and i think also that morales has no chance of beating or even winning against PACman.. roach just caried away! because of what morales said the first fight (”i don’t felt the power of Manny”) second fight he said that ” i got tired on the later rounds” because he’s having problem of losing wieght.. the thing is he won the first fight because OF MANNY’s eyes was cut in the middle of the round.. and it was a Big cut… ROACH just carried away because of morales arrongant after he won the first fight.. and ROACH just carried away because of morales boasting in thier first fight..
August 29th, 2006 at 7:42 pm
i say conditioning will be the factor here, both guys know its other and they have their own potentials to show come fightnight. This fight will go in later rounds and whoever is in best shape will remain standing in the end. My thoughts.
August 29th, 2006 at 7:48 pm
I think the only reason you guys think manny will lose is because you don’t see him training instead all you hear is how erics got this and erics got that….. its all hype baby. come fight night, thats all that really matters.
August 29th, 2006 at 8:00 pm
Erik Morales, for sure will give his last breath to this third encounter with Manny “PACMAN” Pacquiao, but PACMAN will dominate again and knocking out EM in their incoming match. Everybody is talking
August 29th, 2006 at 8:07 pm
I’m a pacfan, I really think its very wise of pacquiao to insist on the 130 lb limit. However, I would also like to see them fight at a catch weight in which morales will be comfortable. When that happens, morales will have no more excuses when he looses. I think that pacquiao will beat the crap out of morales at any weight. All morales can do is jab pacquiao, and i don’t think that you can win with just a jab.
August 29th, 2006 at 8:08 pm
ive never seen manny beaten really bad and also getting very tired and not fighting back in all his fights… manny has the shyt to last more than 15 rounds, not to mention the head butts and low blows…
August 29th, 2006 at 8:08 pm
I think PacMan (PM) will show his determination and heart for this upcoming figth for EM,We beleive in him.For now on is comfortable and much better than EM And I think he will move on Lightweight division…so,LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE…… GO PACMAN….
August 29th, 2006 at 8:13 pm
If you asked whose better, it’s manny. Erik for sure will give his best shot but will it be enough to beat the pacman. Although manny is the better fighter than eric, there’s much distraction in manny’s training. The conditioning for manny will be the factor so if the pacman wants to win, he should prepare for the fight. If the conditioning of manny is very well, we’ll be seeing el terible again kneeling down or worse.
August 29th, 2006 at 8:14 pm
EM do not accept the reality, it is because he has full of pride. Remember too much pride will lead to tremendous destruction.
August 29th, 2006 at 8:15 pm
Manny will win over Eric M. Manny has better speed and punching power over Eric although Manny has weaker chin and stomach. If Eric will not catch Manny with his sunday punches early in the rounds he will definitely go down in defeat either by KO or unanimous decision
August 29th, 2006 at 8:16 pm
If Eric did’t meet the 130 lbs. If I am Eric, I won’t show up to fight because he does not have enough strength to fight with PACMAN. PACMAN surely will putting his down again one more time with his entire career.
August 29th, 2006 at 8:23 pm
Freddie should really just shut his trap.
I dunno why he hates EM so much.
Let the fight speak for itself.
It appears to me Erik is fighting his weight more than he’s going to fight Pac.
Remember when these fighters could no longer make their weight comfortably? Meldrick Taylor, Donald Curry, JCC, Wilfredo Gomez, Lupe Pintor and Terry Norris? They all got knocked out at the end of their careers.
August 29th, 2006 at 8:27 pm
I believe I saw the best in Erik Morales in his 2nd fight with Manny Pacquiao. He was there with bad intentions and to shame Pacquiao. Sorry for him he also met the best of Manny Pacquiao yet in that fight. In this Grand Finale,I think it would still be Manny Pacquiao who will be the victor. Only Erik’s fighting strategy will be different this time but still be the same Erik Morales as in the 2nd fight.Manny Pacquiao, on the otherhand, has more confidence in defeating Morales. With skills still improving, no doubt Manny will finish this fight and win earlier than round 10.
August 29th, 2006 at 8:34 pm
Conditioning here will be the number 1 factor on who’s gonna win. They both know each other’s style and no amount of education will teach both of them new tricks. Eric being serious about his weight reduction program by hiring a number of pros to oversee that he makes it in top form is on the right track. Pacquiao, on the other hand, has the reputation of being a conditioning freak. But lately, especially after the Morales II fight, he has been spending all his energy on everything other than boxing. Hospitalized for overfatigue, numerous travels and business commitments, and the very latest (just 3 days ago) him being seen by numerous patrons of a “buy-me-drinkie” bar in Guam (”Cellar” bar is the name) late in the wee hours of the night drunk in the company of 5-6 bar girls in one of the bar’s private sections. This and many others will spell the doom of Manny Pacquiao. Boxing for him now is second fiddle to the newly found fame and fortune and lifestyle that he’s adapted at present. I’m Filipino but this third time with Morales I will not put any wager in Pacquiao’s favor. I’m disappointed with his attitude. Also, Morales is again a HUNGRY fighter, after all that weight loss regimen.
August 29th, 2006 at 8:35 pm
my thinking is morales is gonna come in at 132lbs. over the 130lbs. limit morales gonna surely get his catch weight request after all at a stiff price of 500k per pound . this extra weight might give him extra energy thru last 12 rounds on his feet.
August 29th, 2006 at 8:37 pm
lights out for Morales..Nov. 18 will be his end of days. Pacman @ 6
August 29th, 2006 at 8:38 pm
In my opinion, Morales is the one who beats himself. Lately Morales has no discipline in maintaining his weight in between fights thats why he always had a hard time in making the limit. Father time is not the main factor here for Morales because he is only 29 turning 30 this time. We have some fighters at his age level that doesn’t encountered same problem in making the weight limit considering that they are naturally bigger or taller than Morales, and one good example is Oscar Larios. Larios is taller than Morales for about 2 inches but doesn’t have a hard time making 130lbs limit and still capable of making 122lbs.
August 29th, 2006 at 8:40 pm
We’ll make it rather simple: if Manny trains hard, for sure he will win. If Manny continues to be used by the mother@uckers politicians in RP and even far away Hawaii and crams for training, Morales will knock him out in three rounds. Mark my word and remember my name!
August 29th, 2006 at 8:40 pm
At 130 lbs, Manny is at its best. In the second encounter, you witnessed the legs of Morales on the later rounds were trembling (signs of aging warrior). This coming third encounter it will be Erik’s waterloo… the last, overtaken by the natural power of the left and now the right hands combination (manila ice) molded by years of suffering that comes to life for recognition of PACQUIAO. Erik will go down on the 6th and kiss the canvass on the 7th. I hope Erik will not be running around the ring.
August 29th, 2006 at 8:41 pm
Morales is full of excuses that’s why he will never win against me this Nov. Morales be a man and accept defeat. Don’t say you got tired because you had to lose all that weight to make the limit. It’s not my fault that you don’t have the discipline to be able to stay within or at least a little over the limit in between fights. That’s part of boxing gaining weight to fight bigger men and losing weight to fight in a lower division. If you can’t handle that then you’re better off retiring.
Morales talks a lot of smack about me…hahah that’s smart…for a “man” who is a sore loser, who cannot accept defeat and has to make excuses every time he loses. Well I guess he really needs to do that to convince himself that he has a chance against me.
Farewell Morales by November the whole world of boxing will be singing “na na na na na na na na hey hey-ey, goodbye” to you
August 29th, 2006 at 8:54 pm
Weightloss problem is the present greatest enemy of Eric. This problem knocked out Manny Pacquiao’s world flyweight crown before before he even entered the ring against a Thailander.
That’s a problem that goes with the growing old of a man. That’s a law of nature.
In other words, Eric does not belong anymore to the superfeatherweight division.
It is his insistence to stay in that division to be able to get back at the Pacman that is his problem.
Eric should go up and stay at the Lightweight division and get back at Raheem.
August 29th, 2006 at 9:10 pm
Pacman has no attitude of underestimating any of his opponent. Pacman have inborn skill and knowledge in boxing that makes him succeed in most of his fight, basically an edge against all of his opponents. If morales’ 3rd fight against pacman is his fight of his career, so as pacquiao also. There’s no way morales would win on the 3rd fight……..
August 29th, 2006 at 9:11 pm
EM will be kiss the canvass again right now he is blowted i don’t think in the fight he will be in the best shape but his drain
August 29th, 2006 at 9:16 pm
I think Eric will K.O manny in 8 rds,Pacman is overrated, yes he is good but come Nov 18,Eric will be awesome. So,pac fans youll see a repeat of what hapend to your viloria bwahaha!!!
August 29th, 2006 at 9:16 pm
Come 18 November 2006: The Best of Manny vs. The Best of Eric.
Sorry, but PacMan will gobble up El Terrible. The police should be alerted on the felony (serious physical injuries) about to unfold!!!
August 29th, 2006 at 9:20 pm
Of course Manny’s not leaving anything to chance. He’s at it (conditioning) even with his hectic schedule as a celebrity. You’ll see a superbly conditioned PACMAN come fight night. With Freddie Roach on his side nothing could go awry. All the noise emanates from Erik’s side which is very ominous, it’s all talk to conceal his weaknesses. Morales ‘weighty’ issue is really a burden to the legendary Mexican boxing hero. All the experts hired to remedy his difficulty in making the required 130lb limit will be of no help on the night of November 18!
August 29th, 2006 at 9:26 pm
the punch of Pacman will prevail at the end. EM will face his 3rd straight loss, and the end of his career. a dios amigo
August 29th, 2006 at 9:34 pm
ERIK is a great fighter, but MANNY is greater… thats as simple as that, enuf said.
August 29th, 2006 at 9:36 pm
I have a big doubt that Morales will make the 130 lb weight limit, he’s going to do a lot of reducing. Coach Freddie is contributing for “mind games” too, and that’s good. If Morales will make the weight, he is not physically fit though and not mentally fit (because of the mind games).
August 29th, 2006 at 9:37 pm
i GUeSs pAcmAN wiLl wiN foR theIr 3rD fYt………….i gUESs mAnnY foR bEinG a sPirItuAl peRsOn anD helPs to achiEve dAt dreAm……….
August 29th, 2006 at 9:47 pm
freddie was just countering morales smacking sh@t…..all morales talking are f@ck!ng lies…he should put in his dull brain that he has no match for manny….and thats the reality……we boxing fans know that……and let us wait til fight night on november 18, morales will fall down again….
by the way who say manny is relaxing today….for your info im in gensan and i see him jogging in the morning……so WATCH OUT MORALES…..
August 29th, 2006 at 10:04 pm
what a crap for you guys talking about manny not training for the nov. 18 encounter! hey, its too early for my main man to train hard and sweat it all out, we don’t want to burn manny for too much training. remember, morales is training as early as july because he got this weight problem and that does not apply for pacman who feasted during training and still maintained his weight. bid adieu morales, you had your share of glory in the ring, its MANNY’s time now!
August 29th, 2006 at 10:10 pm
Would suggest to EM to swallow his pride!!! don’t let it destroy your future especially you had a new baby born kid!!!
Just focus it to your family because i hate to see you kissing in the canvass for the 2nd time!!! and so sure Manny won’t hesitate to do that again!!!
August 29th, 2006 at 10:21 pm
Morales can pool all the best conditioning experts in the world and still lose. He is not the only one making all the preparations. Roach and Manny won’t just sit down and wait and see. While Father Time is catching up on Erik, Manny has luxury of the youth, fresher, hungrier, and peaking up. It’s gonna be a painful farewell fight for Erik. Very painful…tsk! tsk!
August 29th, 2006 at 10:21 pm
pls don’t underestimate morales….we just wait…and see..who is the best…good luck to everyone….be professional . thanks
August 29th, 2006 at 10:24 pm
Come Nov.18 EM will be much stronger and better, this gonna be his last chance to prove everybody that he is still in boxing game and not yet to retire. I believe he will do everything and train hard to accomplish this but Manny Pacquiao is Manny Pacquiao,…he is PACMAN,he will surely eat EM alive just make it sure my idol to train hard and go away from politics and showbiz businesses.
I hope and pray that you will stay as PACMAN as you are as I first saw you fighting 5 years ago. God bless you!
August 29th, 2006 at 10:27 pm
F Roach comments against Eric is business; ads, website, magazine etc. are the one benefited by these intrigues. But, this coming November fight between manny(filipino) & eric(mexicano) is a fight for PRIDE not freedom nor money because both fighters are free & wealthy. This is a great fight because they will fight for their own country. Even the Mexican fighters like Barrera & Larios wanted to regain their defeats against the lone ranger Filipino fighter Pacquiao. So, watch out folks!!!!!!!!! FIGHTER WITH BIG HEART WILL WIN…(guess who?)
August 29th, 2006 at 10:37 pm
too much hype. a prepared pacman will beat a prepared erik morales. pacman will eat morales alive! preparation and conditioning is the key.
August 29th, 2006 at 10:47 pm
ur going down erik morales! u’ll gonna smack on the canvass once agen.. sore loser! u dont hev the tools to beat the pacman.. ur juz a boastfull, idiot, fucking mexican boxer.. u know im sayin?!? u hev so many excuses!! c’mon erik, grow up! i dont believe u as one of the best boxer of of all time,, or legend in the making.. i think it’s bullshit! well,, all i can say is that UR GOING DOWN!! pacman will gonna kick ur butt.. go pacman!!
August 29th, 2006 at 10:54 pm
Getting Erick down is Manny’s exclamation point to his statement “I am the best super featherweight…” so he would not loose concentration. It’s not about hurting morales, it’s not about $.5m per pound but it is saying to ever doubter…”You should watch my fights and believe”
August 29th, 2006 at 10:56 pm
I have no doubt Manny will be triumphant once again during this up coming fight with Morales. Manny is a humble man and he respect Morales as a friend. But the problem is Morales understimated Manny’s power, even if he was badly beaten during their 2nd fight. Even though EM will hire nutritionists, he still can’t have that kind of power which Manny has now. Every punch of Manny to EM’s face and body carries the weight of the whole population of the Philippines and fans in all over the world.
August 29th, 2006 at 10:59 pm
i believed thats Eric Morales will definetely beat Manny Pacquiao since Eric doing very hard for preparation in training and have a good specialist doctors for the health and it should be work out. Not like Pacaman he is very busy endorsing some products and busy making advertisement in the TV….absolutely Pacman lknockout in the trilogy fight….
August 29th, 2006 at 11:04 pm
Freddie talks like this to hype up the fight.
To get into everybody’s head, even to the fans. So buy those tickets! Buy the PPV’s!
This war is all about conditioning.
We all know that with Erik’s vast experience, it is only rightful that he “should” be the
better skilled fighter. Problem is…. his body is getting weaker. And he is helpless about it.
Manny on the other hand is catching up in terms of skills. And with that marvelous conditioning of his…. there’s nothing erik can do about it. Manny would have won the first fight if not for that bleeding head of his. The gash slowed his pace. Made it difficult for him to see and fight. What happened in fight two was real. That’s the same outcome we’ll get on the “Grand Finale”. All of Erik’s skills will be put to waste when he’s breathing heavily after the fifth round. When his knees start to tremble on the sixth. When he’s losing steam on the seventh. And on the ninth… he complains of being hungry and drops to his knees. And all of that…. is part of the sweet science.
August 29th, 2006 at 11:05 pm
It’s gonna be PACMAN all the way! He is still hungry and has not settle a dispute with Barrera. He has to past over Morales first and he will - come Nov. 18.
August 29th, 2006 at 11:05 pm
Don’t doubt Morales, though heres how i see it. Morales can win by using the jab and winning rounds like he did in the beginning rounds of the 2nd fight though if Morales gets caught with a left by Pacman that might KD morales, then Morales is done. As long as Morales avoids the heavy punching power of Pacquiao he’s safe. Though I think the first fight took a lot out of Morales which therefore lead to the loss Morales had to Raheem then to Pacquiao. I truly don’t believe Morale’s boxing career is done, I just think he’s trying to deny that it was Pacquiao that beat him. In other words he’s discrediting Pacquiao and blaming his conditioning either because he doesn’t want to accept the truth that Pacquiao beat him or he truly believes it was the conditioning and not recognizing that Pacquiao’s punches has an deadly effect on him. Either way, i’m looking forward to this.
August 29th, 2006 at 11:06 pm
The seven weight expert won’t be in the ring to save Morales from being KOed again by Pacman. Cleto Reyes gloves laced with Manila Ice will be too much to handle for Eric. Morales’ seconds should bring with them more massage ointment. Eric is gonna need them for his legs.
August 29th, 2006 at 11:07 pm
It’s gonna be PACMAN what’s in your mind Folks
August 29th, 2006 at 11:08 pm
Also, I’m worried for Pacquiao, even though I haven’t heard much on his training, my perception is that Pacquiao is getting distracted too much and isn’t preparing heavily as he should be (i could be wrong) but thats my perception and most people’s perception right now. Though someone commented that it’s because we hear too much on Morale’s training and not much about Pacquiao’s training. Though for Morales, Morales should have at least had a tune-up fight and this will be Pacquiao’s 3rd fight this year.
August 29th, 2006 at 11:17 pm
Those statements of Freedie were just one of the come ons for more market strat of the forthcoming fight. Freddie does not underestimate Eric. He just hates Eric but that doesnt mean he wont do his job. The pride of Eric will be his own venom.
August 29th, 2006 at 11:34 pm
I really have a bad feeling about my coming fight. I think I will kiss the canvass again. T_T huhuhu
August 29th, 2006 at 11:36 pm
i think manny f he trains well like the 2nd fight, very focus and one thing in mind to win for the country and himself will again win over EM, words are only psywar to make the enemy relax & understimate him, but action , with use of mind , patience, and stamina is the real key to win a fight especially boxing……….
August 29th, 2006 at 11:44 pm
manny ain’t invincible but this time erik is definitely goin’ down, for the second time baby…an alibi is just a lie…retirin’ is the best option…go! go! erik….to retirement!
August 29th, 2006 at 11:44 pm
Guys come on we know already who will win this fight, well of course Manny Pacman. As you can imagine the trail of the two fighters Morales is getting older while Pacman is getting better.
Go go go idol Pacman. Give him another round trip previous fight you punch in the left he turned on in the right, well on that moment give him both shot so that he round an round as much as he can.
August 29th, 2006 at 11:46 pm
Paman has to ceased doing this “showbiz stuff and commercials” if he intends to retain his crown. This will come later on. This is about time for him to be back to hands of his trainer. Eric Morales is not Oscar Larios.
He has to be prepared. Otherwise he will end up “NOTHING” in the end.
August 29th, 2006 at 11:50 pm
i think if pacquiao is committed enough to training then it will be his day, he claims that his dedication and passion for boxing has never changed, lets hope thats true enough, morales on the other hand can be arrogant as hell(you can go there too once you lose to pacquiao) man accept it, there can only be one winner inside the ring, and stop making excuses about your weight problems its your body and you should know how to maintain it. amigos and kumpadres who love boxing, lets shout ……. PACQUIAO ALL THE WAY BABY!!!!!!
August 29th, 2006 at 11:56 pm
GO,GO,GO PACMAN….!
Concentrate first in your training, stay away from crocodile politicians they are just using you for their personal gains/ambitions. Start your training now and make it double and hard as you can coz el terrible will surely train very very hard to beat you and to stay in boxing arena and to regain his lost glory.
We are praying for you,…our idol and hero!

Erik Morales will be done on Nov. 18, 2006. I asure you that my loving boxing addicts, “Pacman” will eat him alive. Around 9 nine is enough for him. No heart feeling Erik Morales fans, sport lang at pang-familia pa!!! Mabuhay kayo dalawa!!!!!!
August 29th, 2006 at 11:58 pm
This is one of the best exchanges of opinion, I’ve seen so far….Although posters are each rooting for their own man, they are not littering any verbal craps here….
Way to go, people!
I’m a Pac fan myself but I also like Morales’s fighting style (minus his arrogance). Good luck to both boxers…I agree that conditioning will be a great factor. I believe the Morales will make it to 130 in a healthy fashion because he has put his mind to it. Let us not underestimate the power of determination, positive thinking and passion. Pac’s only great enemy in this fight is himself (and maybe, just maybe, Muhammad’s clout if he influences the judges…and it turns out to be a close fight.)
August 29th, 2006 at 11:58 pm
Of course people are underestimating Erik Morales. He is way overweight for his current condition and will spend more time taking it off than training for a war. He’ll probably be too exhausted from taking the weight off to even train. Come on, you know how hard that is?
August 29th, 2006 at 11:59 pm
erik will this time by UD… by not engaging Pacquiao
August 30th, 2006 at 12:02 am
Manny’s on top of his game right now. I don’t think anyone will beat him if Manny will do his part in training. Erik has already shown what he can do in the ring. It’s just that he came a bit early ahead of Manny to match his prime. If we can just put back time, Erik’s power matches with Manny’s power of today four or five years ago. Cannot blame Roach if he sees the same opinion.
August 30th, 2006 at 12:22 am
Lots of Erik Morales fans had hope that their guy would beat Manny Pacquiao this Nov. 18 of their 3rd Meeting, some says that freddie Roach underestimated EM, well for me Erik Morales is indeed a skilled fighter than manny, but you cannot deny the fact that Manny has his speed, stamina, and power of which Erik Morales needs to deal with, and Manny is on top of his game right now, its hard to beat him. Freddie Roach simply states the fact that Erik Morales cannot beat Pacquiao at this weight class at 130 lbs, and I agree with freddie, in fact I even pity him when i saw his swollen face, (its jst like bitten by swarm of killer bees). That pretty much to say how much he received during their fight, in fact in round nine EM, would want to quit. I guess its all over for Erik Morales this November, and I think it would be a quick fight. EriK will suffer a tremendous defeat than his first defeat with pacquiao, sorry guys, it will be over for EriK!

*******hey wait a minute dud.. i dont think manny has a weaker chin and stomach. maybe a good chin anyway. but a weaker stomach.?? c’mon dud. did you see the how many sit-up variations manny does when he’s in training?? did you see the endurance training that justine fortune and company gave to PAcman’s stomach?? the arnis type that is repeatedly punishing pacman’s arms and stomach..? and the punches of justine fortune and company to Pacman’s stomach without the boxing gloves? Pacman, Give your Best Shot!!!!!!! Go Pilipinas!!!!!!!
August 30th, 2006 at 12:50 am
Freddie roach is just psyching the camp of morales and this is part of the business. To make more hypes and generate PPV interest. Freddie roach don’t underestimate EM but he was pissed of EM because EM doesn’t accepted the fact that Pacman beat him fare and square. EM blamed his weight ,etc. My goodness, this is your job and your career, you should know that weight matters in boxing.
To EM, just do your job and no more excuses on your weight, Respect Pacman that he beats you fare and square.
To Pacman, stop showbusiness (for the moment) and don’t mingle too much with dirty politicians who wanted to use your popularity. Remember, it’s the boxing who gave you all this fame and wealth, so go back to a healthy lifestyle, free of politics and showbiz. Afterall, showbiz and politics will not be interested to you if you are not a boxing superstar. Get back where you belong. If you continue with this stuff, we’ll not be surprised if you get knocked down by EM. So, my friend get back to work! you can still do it and beat morales. After that, beat Barrera and then you may think now you’re retirement. That’s it!
August 30th, 2006 at 12:51 am
Lets put EMs weight problems aside.
In the first fight EM won mostly because of Mannys bad cut which he suffered in the 5th round because of an accidental headbutt. That bad cut caused Manny to become desperate because the fight could have been stopped at any minute if the cut got worse. Manny fought a one dimensional fight hopeing to catch EM with a haymaker left.
In the third fight EMs performance slid starting in the 6th round when Manny broke his nose. After that round EM was getting pummeled in the body by Manny badly because he had to protect his face. Those body shots took away EMs legs.
For the third fight I hope EM comes in good shape even if he weighs 132lbs. I want to see who the better fighter really is without any excuses.
August 30th, 2006 at 12:51 am
Pacman used to be a one-dimentional fighter when he fought, MAB, JMM, & EM-1. He was very susciptible to counter punches that JMM and EM showed him in their 1st fights. But since then, Pacman has evolved…he has two hands “the left & the right” that are now capable to make him throw more combinations.
As a Pacman fan, i watched his 1st fight with Morales more than 10 times and saw his weaknesses why he lost that fight. I watched his 2nd fight with Morales more than 20 times (and i will still watch it again), and saw his weaknesses again; however, after 5th round of that 2nd fight, a new Manny Pacquiao has emerged as one of the best counter punchers; good punching combinations; feints; speed; body attack to EM mid-section; stamina; punching power and good defense that led EM to his bended knees on the canvas.
If Pacman will polish more styles, skills and gym training more than what he did his last fight against EM, there’s no way EM could win. But if an overconfident, unprepared Pacman will show up the ring, it would be a fragile thing for him to make. But I guess, he won’t face EM the 3rd time unprepared…i bet Pacman will win…but the whole fight MEANS WAR!!!!
August 30th, 2006 at 12:53 am
It is hard to say this time who will wins, in the first and second time both of them are fighting in a level that they wanted to win.
In there first meeting morales find the oppurtunity to frustrate pacquiao and in the second time pacquiao is lucky enough that in round six he hurt morales with a volume of punches that affecting his condition.
So it is the question, who will be the first to hit a a hard punch enought to tire one them.
August 30th, 2006 at 1:06 am
watch out for that straight left hand!
August 30th, 2006 at 1:07 am
yan and sina sabi ko…una sa jab una sa jab OKE pre!
August 30th, 2006 at 1:15 am
erik morales is a good fighter and he will prove it in nov 18,but pacman is better than erik and a lot stronger and quicker.pacman will dominate the fight by knocking down morales in fourth round……….
August 30th, 2006 at 1:43 am
I think erik would make the weight limit but i’m not sure if his strength an stamina can match manny’s speed and power. On Pacman’s side, Manny should start training. Erik is dead-serious in regaining respect and avenge his only knock out lost. Manny by TKO again!
August 30th, 2006 at 1:52 am
The best Eric could do he did on the first fight, thanks to the bad cut on Manny’s right brow, but inspite of that big advantage Eric was not even able to stagger or knock down the great Pac, and any good observer can conclude that without that bad cut the outcome would have been the opposite, which was what happened on the second fight. Come November, Eric may run as he wish but Freddie and the group are doing preparations for that, so barring all untoward incidents, the outcome will be the same, it’s the Pac, accept the fact Eric, Manny is your conqueror, everyone has to go, and your time is up.
August 30th, 2006 at 2:05 am
In my opinion, Manny is the better fighter than Eric right now. I just hope manny doesn’t lose the passion for boxing, ‘coz i heard that he wants to retire from boxing next year and wants to be politician.
August 30th, 2006 at 2:07 am
sino ba pipiliin ko? michelle o gilsah….ewan ko kung love ko pa si michelle e..
August 30th, 2006 at 2:16 am
manny I am one of your fans, and am a Gensan guy too. But I am now in LA USA. please stay away from politics and gambling. now you have businesses in Luzviminda, cockfignting farm in Alabel, Sarangani Province, May I just suggest that you lay low on your gambling. It is not my money, but you can use it for better reasons. please avoid tradors of pool, you know them they are like Lions waiting to devour you. being a pool player, you should know this. You’ve been there and done that. YOu should know better. nad as your coach said this might be your toughetst fight of ur carreer. so please go to training early, and get yourself ready and send Erik to retirement God bless u and your family.
August 30th, 2006 at 2:24 am
I think that the team”pacman” should not be overconfident.
August 30th, 2006 at 2:28 am
I think pacman will win this fight but very close fight the problem with morales is the weight and no tune up fights before he face pacman that’s the big problem for morales we never see him for 10 months I hope no one get hurt in november 18 bcoz of the pride of both fighters where not talking about mexico vs phils where talking about sports of boxing and the fans we know only one guy will win in nov 18 be respectful on both fighters there tough warrior from mexico and the phils peace out brother and sister its only sports
August 30th, 2006 at 3:10 am
I think morales if he is in good shape can out box manny. Manny makes so many mistakes, Which Morales can punish
Like all the PACQUIAO fans keep saying MORALES can’t take a defeat well, You could say that about PACQUIAO in the first fight when he was crying about the gloves
August 30th, 2006 at 3:17 am
i think EM will make the weights considering all those specialists they hired & no doubt he’ll be in better condition than the last fight, imagining the possibility of retirement if he loses this fight even if he’s still denying it…. but the result of the match on Nov. 18 will still not be different with their last fight, because PacMan have been & still becoming much better than their last encounter… the only difference I can see is EM going down earlier than before ( 8-10th round)…
August 30th, 2006 at 3:52 am
I am a Pacfan. but i got lot of repect with Eric Morales. Never ever under estimate his capability, he will not be dubbed as “El Terrible” for nothing. He earned it, people noticed it.
and for Pacman, Better start working sir. It’s easier to destroy a man fighting for a money, than a man fighting for a pride.
oh, by the way, Mr.”ChRiStiAn” will not also be dubbed as a “racist” or a disgusting sun of a B….!!! if u didn’t read his comment.
You disgust me, and You Disgust the entire Filipino Nation!!! be professional
August 30th, 2006 at 4:14 am
On Nov. 18, 2006 El Terible will be terribly beaten, devastated, and hospitalized after Pacman will KO Eric in round 10. Manny will change the facial contour of Eric. More puffy this time eyes cant be seen, fragile nose will be fractured resulting from heavy punishment.
August 30th, 2006 at 4:19 am
I am an avid fan of boxing ever since at the time of Evander Holyfield. I have known him a lot with excellent discipline and big heart. He is one of my greatest boxer ever after Muhammad Ali. Anyway, going back to this up coming showdown on November 2006 between Pacman & El Terrible will be the most awaited fight of this year. I believe that EM will do all the package he got to the fact the he was the three world title champion from different division. His career experiences, endurance, maturity, courage, power and heart of a champion will surely be shown on this fight just to win, regardless of by a split decision. Knowing EM has an excellent combination of punches and a big percentage in accuracy, thus, a unanimous or split decisions will be by Eric. A TKO is a very low chance for him.
For Manny ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao, has the heart of conquering all his fears that is why he was on top right now. He has the superb power left hand and dangerous right which makes the difference. I have doubt if EM can sustain his power and speed, considering these two fighters are in excellent condition & preparation when the fight comes.
I would suggest for EM camp and to himself just to keep quiet and concentrate more on how he will defeat the Pacman, as a blessing disguise. For whatever words thrown to other side it couldn’t lessen of what kind of boxer you are since its already proven.
Finally! i do believe Eric Morales will make a test for the first few rounds until 5th if it doesn’t work of what he plans, he will go for points until the end. However, for MP aggressiveness to land a solid punch will make the difference of everything.
I bit for PACMAN…good luck to you EL TERRIBLE.
August 30th, 2006 at 4:31 am
ERIK should realize that the Nov 18, 2006 fight would be his RETIREMENT fight… he better be sure to keep PACMAN posters as mementos… Goodbye EL TERRIBLE, youve been terribly beaten.
August 30th, 2006 at 4:32 am
i admire both fighters heart..trash talking is natural in any way in sports, specially in boxing..they just want us to be involved so they can attract more fans on november 18..any way, both fighters will show their best i think..because if EM will not, that will be the end of his career and if Pacman will not (but i’m sure he will), he can’t proved to all people that he is the best fighter and mexican destroyer in 130 lbs before retiring..goodluck for the both fighters..you showned us already how you fought…this time no excuses for both fighters..i pray for the health of both fighters after the match….GOD BLESS
ZENKI ng LETRAN Manila Philippines
August 30th, 2006 at 4:48 am
The only way Morales can defeat Pacquiao in the Grand Finale is by accident!!!!!
August 30th, 2006 at 5:11 am
The manner Pacquiao has been “behaving” recently, the “Pacman: might just be facing the biggest “shocker” of his life.
August 30th, 2006 at 5:18 am
On Nov 18, the only fighter who will be able to beat Manny is Manny himself. With the way Erik looked at the press con, we dont need an expert to tell us how plump and heavy he was. Erik’s problem now is losing a lot of weight, then train for the fight. But for Manny, weight is not an issue. He only has to train. Thats a big difference, right there. If Manny comes in overconfident and ill-trained, he’ll repeat the sins of the past and might end up losing the same way he did in the 1st fight. It’s in Manny hands, or should i say fists.
August 30th, 2006 at 5:25 am
No doubt Pacman can still destroy Eric Morales, but BOXING IS A BIG BUSINESS! what would you think if Eric Morales loss, its the END of him, he cannot be saleable anymore.but if he wins WOW! a very good business! if Paman loss or intend to lose, its not the end of his career, he’s still saleable Barrera is still there, still a good business! Pacman will lose this time intentionally because BOXING IS A BIG BUSINESS!!!
August 30th, 2006 at 5:30 am
In the first place, why Morales should ask for a rematch if he feels his weight is disadvantageous to him.
It seems he has a feeling that he’s losing the fight even if it hasn’t started yet by making weight as excuses.
Did you ever heard Pac say Morales is bigger and has longer arms?
You can’t have all the things in life the way you want it to be. Get by and make do the most of all you got.
August 30th, 2006 at 9:03 am
The difference between the first and second fight is the CLETO gloves plus Manny’s excellence superhuman conditioning. The result: He demolished Morales and broke him down piece by piece and Morales just ran out of steam to withstand the bombs and lightning reflexes of Pacman.
Granting both men climb the ring at the same level of conditioning and preparation which will be likely as off the eyes of the public press, the factors that made made PACMAN win in the second game are too much to deny him a victory on the third match. Manny has been training in his hometown GenSan as he normally does before flying to the US. While Eric has been working to loose weight and loose more of it, Manny is already ready next week to make it to 130 lbs.
When Manny starts climbing the Hilly park of LA, his hermit-like focus in training camp takes over and that will be an added problem for Morales.
To compound to the Morales camp’s puzzle is the CLETO and the new found arsenal of Pacman PLUS the undeniable advantage of PACMAN being THE younger fighter.
Thse factors if Eric can exceed, supercede or overcome but certainly he CAN NOT ignore the huge advantage Pacman has going into the third chapter.
August 30th, 2006 at 11:34 am
I believe no body in 130 can beat pacman… not even morales, barrera, guzman, barios or even valero.. nothing of this guys have the speed and power that pacman has. the only thing that can beat pacman is by running a vice mayor on 2007.
August 30th, 2006 at 11:59 am
roach got an existing bad blood with morales. morales pulled out the proverbial beast in freddie by insulting him right after the 1st fight. roach is just giving back what morales gave to him in the past
August 30th, 2006 at 12:17 pm
Roach is a beautiful trainer, Manny is a fighter full of heart and refuses to lose, Morales is a mexican warrior that would die in the ring before losing. Manny showed determination and heart in their last fight. One thing you ppl dont understand and underestimate is the Mexican heart. Boxing runs in our veins. We are amongst the greatest warriors in boxing. come Nov. 18th Pacquiao is going to experience the fight of his life. Morales knows what mistakes he made and WILL correct them. Manny will be surprised and confused. Morales will be Chavez,Barerra, and delahoya all in one nov 18th. The Mexican heart will prevail! Manny is one of the best fighters i’ve ever seen. He’s just gonna have to honor this beating as he did the first one.
August 30th, 2006 at 12:43 pm
THE FIRST FIGHT BETWEEN THE EM AND MP… IS NOT CONVINCING I THINK MANNY LOST BECAUSE HE WAS CUT IN THE 5TH.. EM ALMOST WENT DOWN IN THE 12.. AND IF CAN RECALL ABOUT THE BLOOD.. IF YOU WILL WATCH AGAIN THE FIRST FIGHT YOU CAN REALY TELL THAT EM IS NOTHING TO PACQUIAO… I AM REALY SURE THAT EM FOUGHT IN A NICE CONDITION IN THE 2ND FIGHT EM IS WISE ENOGH HE HIRED TRAINERS AND SPARMATES TO MAKE HIS CONDITION STRONG.. ANALIZE IT STEP BY STEP WOULD YOU THINK EM WILL FIGHT IN THE RING IF HE KNEW THAT HIS NOT IN GOOD SHAPE??? FOR EM JUST ACCEPT THE FACT THAT YOU LOST, YOUV GOT ko BY A STRONGER ,FASTER, AND MUCH HARDER PUNCHER. THAT HIM… IF HE IS REALY NOT IN GOOD SHAPE IN THE 2ND FIGHT HE CANT STAY WITH MANNY IN 10 ROUNDS… AS IF YOU SEE IN THE FIGHT IN THE 2ND ROUND ERIC WAS HIT IN THE JAW AND TOOK HIM TO HOLD THE ROPES RIGHT.. BUT HE STILL CLAMING THAT HE LEADS THE FIGHT BUT HE GETS TIRED HAHAHA FOR ERIC AGAIN WATCH THE FIGHT AGAIN AND KISS YOUR ASS… YOU ARE A GREAT FIGHTER,LEGEND. BUT MANNY IS MUCH BETTER… HE HAS A POWERFULL LEFT AND THE DAMAGE IN ERIC MORALES BODY STILL WORKING INSIDE… YOU CAN NOT TEACH AN OLD DOG A NEW TRICK.. THE CHANCES FOR EM FOR PACQUIAO THIS RUBBER MUCTH WILL BE 30 70% BUT IF PACQUIAO TAKE HIM LIGHTLY ERIC MIGHT WIN IN A 30% POSIBILITY… HOPE YOU HAVE A COPY THE VIDEOS TOO SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT AM I TRYING TO TELL YOU FOLKS GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU AND TO BOUGHT FIGHTER GOD BLESS US ALL TY…
August 30th, 2006 at 3:53 pm
My friends it does not matter how much blood and how badly cut you are. If you are a true warrior you will suck it up. I dont think manny ever legitimately used the cut as an excuse for losing the fight. I believe Manny’s exact words were ” He has a different difficult style”. Their first fight Manny thought he was going to run over erik like the rest of the mexican fighters he fought. Perfect example is when Manny knocked down Marquez 2 times in the first round and had him bloodied from the nose where the guy could barely breathe throughout the fight but yet Marquez sucked it up and got a draw out of that fight. That is true mexican heart right there! When Manny pacquiao Lost to Erik He honored it. He even cried on National television. He was a humble warrior about it and admited He had never faced a fighter like Morales. If you watch their first fight Paquiao was confused and was relying on his left hand to do the job. Morales even switched to southpaw in the last round to give the crowd a show. I believe the cut issue is an excuse Manny Pacquiao fans are using for him. He never used that excuse. Its boxing. Fighters get cut and keep on fighting.
August 30th, 2006 at 4:53 pm
you’re right mr. dreamboy! EM is really really nothing but a crap of old dogs now! i noticed that too dude. in their 1st fight, manny just could’nt find his target on early round until he got headbutted accidentally on 5th round and his blood is taking it’s toll on MP. but MP showd a lot of heart later between 9th to 12th and he is a real cocky matador but the fight is only 12 rounds and if that fight is going 15, EM will kiss the canvass as he is slowly fading from 11th to 12th round. on the 2nd fight manny got wiser until he wasted no time hitting EM left and right booms to the body and head the very 1st bell. this coming 3rd fight maybe EM is a more conditioned but he’s still no match with MP’s power and stamina. 10-3 in favor of MP. Mabuhay!!!!
August 30th, 2006 at 5:26 pm
I agree with the cut argument with MexicansRwarriors, matter of fact, I don’t even call distractions as an excuse. Manny said in the first fight that he was 100% physcially ready but not 100% mentally ready. Though in my opinion, Pacquiao had the tools to beat Morales the first time, but didn’t use it and didn’t listen to Roach. At the end, I think everyoen forgot this that MANNY THOUGHT HE WON; Manny thought he was winning rounds (another example: Viloria’s loss to Omar, at the end of the fight, Viloria raised his hands as if he thought he won the bout). Sure the cut on his eye may have had a factor to Pacquiao losing, but I wouldn’t call it an excuse.
Like I said, Im afraid for Pacquiao because of the distractions (especially in the Philippines). Though even though he had mad distractions before the Larios fight, Pacquiao came out successful…though Larios is no Morales.
My prediction on who’s going to win: I don’t know
August 30th, 2006 at 7:04 pm
This time it will be worst for EM. Can u imagine Manny in his peak while Morales is his twillight of his career? Its already painted in the wall. Nobody can go against the Law of Nature. For me, its only the “Purse” what Morales is after for.. Bye bye… Erik. Make sure you don’t end up in the hospital.
My prediction? Obviously… Manny. What we are afraid of is that.. what is going to happen to Erik in the later rounds. You have seen the head of Erik that twirled!
August 30th, 2006 at 7:10 pm
Manny in politics? He has everything to lose and nothing to gain!
He is better off in going around the country and share his blessings…
August 30th, 2006 at 8:01 pm
The trash talking doesn’t really matter. What matters is who’s gonna be the more conditioned fighter come fight night. Erik has many things going through his head right now…age, losing streak, weight…He has to give evrything he’s got right now for him to win. The momentum is on Manny’s side as well as the odds. Manny as seroius as he always is when it comes to training, will go all out come fight night. Manny keeps on improving every fight. Manny fights with a lot of heart, aside from his great power, awesome speed and footwork. He’s a total package. Come fight night, this will be the greatest fight of the trilogy.
August 30th, 2006 at 11:56 pm
Let’s see who is the better man in november 18 match, manny will prove that can win even without a knock-out. Trash talking is part of the game and even morales tries to sell himself by giving some excuses.
August 31st, 2006 at 2:09 am
I cant wait to see this fight, goodluck to Manny and Erik.
Buenos Dias!
August 31st, 2006 at 3:43 am
mabuhay ang Pilipinas.
november 18 will be the legal holiday of all places in the philippines. cz one thing for sure it would the biggest celebration in the century cz
manny will send erik to the canvas and ended up his career.
that what nustradamos said.
August 31st, 2006 at 8:08 am
Siguradong talo si Eric Morales! Period….. Wala halung biro, kinakabahan ang pupusta kay Eric Morales. Sa mga Pinoy na walang tiwala sa kapwa nya filipino ..sige pumusta kayo at ehto na ang panahon para magkaisa tayo. Believe what you belief because it is true what you believe! O anu boksingan na…. matira matira matibay. Pilipino pa! Eh kung ang filipino ay nakikipagsapalaran sa iraq eh si Manny pa kaya. Sinong tao sa mundo ang matitibay kundi mga filipinong katulad natin. Everything we will win if we are unite! thats all dudes!
August 31st, 2006 at 9:13 am
no doubt Pacman will win on Nov. 18 100% itaga mo sa bato!! Go Pacman!!!
August 31st, 2006 at 5:59 pm
Look Erik is most likey to lose this fight You people cheering for Morales are gonna be really upset soon the 2nd fight Morales was clearly out pointing Pacquiao, Then the one round came and Boom Morales is messed up and Erik is getting old, but it is alittle pre-mature for that to happen right now. This is what i’m going to think for the fight in the first Rounds Erik is going to try and counter punch pacquiao, and study him in the fight and use his jab to keep him away, but this time he will have better conditioning and I think he’s doing the right thing, Meanwhile pacquiao right now is undergoing his hardest training program of this career which I think Morales should be doing, but while pacquiao is training as hard as he can Morales will be trying to lose weight since he maybe weights about 150 even 160 maybe, but i think it will win And we dont know maybe pac will have a new punch idk so this fight is going to be a very good fight, but I still have my money on Manny
September 1st, 2006 at 6:21 am
I had enough in Pacquiao-Morales 2.
Same result but more bloody outcome.
September 1st, 2006 at 6:40 am
If Eric M could not finished off a half blind Pacman in MP-EM 1, got demolished in 10 rounds in MP-EM 2. How in the world could eric win on Nov?
September 1st, 2006 at 9:41 am
theres no way EM will beat manny, except when he gets headbutted again. so manny watch his head.i can see no problem with ur style manny, u got incredible speed and power, great abs.my worry is ur chin, its vulnerable.larios’ strengten his chin by lifting weights through mouth, i think it works.he was able to finish the fight even he was getting hit several times by big shots on the chin.just an advice, put extra work on ur chin.buboy take charge.
September 1st, 2006 at 11:56 am
MORALES WILL WIN.
September 1st, 2006 at 4:40 pm
Morales = Dead
Morales is living in a dream world beating pacquiao is going to be very very hard and is foolish for going into a rematch (Prolly doesn’t want to lose again)
Also Erik is trying to pull off a Rocky story win
September 2nd, 2006 at 8:55 am
Im a pacfan but if manny doesn’t stop making tv ads and start training hard for the fight, he might end up beaten by morales. It’s morales’ most important fight and manny’s taking it easy. Pacman’s the best but he’s surrounded by distractions. These people are his real enemies and might just get him beat.
October 28th, 2006 at 9:32 pm
Many will kiss a canvass becase of over confident, but if he will trained as hard as he can in the last week before the fight he will beat Mrales inside the 7th round
November 13th, 2006 at 3:48 am
Manny will go down and kiss the canvas making him just like your average bum. Its too bad. He will go down because Morales will hit him with an uppercut.
November 28th, 2006 at 9:42 pm
HEY Morales fans! what now huh???…3rd round was too early for your man to get knocked out…..Manny Paquiao is jus too fast and strong for your mexican warrior! ha!
