How’s this for diversification…
Heavyweight contender Calvin Brock (29-1, 22 KOs) has started www.CalvinBrockTravel.com, an online travel agency that aims to “save people money.�
“The online travel industry is growing fast,� said Brock in a release. “More people are comfortable booking their own travel and getting cheaper prices than using a traditional travel agency.�
Brock learned about the travel business opportunity through a friend who offered to bring him onboard, he said. After doing his own research Brock realized “the money making potential of my friend’s travel website and how many people he had brought into the business, so I decided to start my own site.�
I’m not exactly certain how promising this venture is, considering expedia.com, and travelocity.com, and the like spend mucho dinero on making sure people log on to their services if they are interested in booking a flight.
I can see Brock getting a few hits from curious fight fans who think perhaps it would be a giggle if the dude who Wladimir Klitschko kayoed in November booked your flight for you…
