This would be the ultimate job , a dream job! I thought DeLahoya fought with heart but I had him down 115-113. He didn’t use his Jab and never loosened up, he was stiff. Perhaps afraid of getting hit by Mayweather’s over hand right if he threw the jab. I would like to see another one as DeLahoya did apply the pressure and I think he picked off alot of the punches that compu box had down as landed power shots for Mayweather. For now we will have to weight for the Hopkins vs. Wright fight , two southpaws I believe. On a sadder note the Boxing world lost a warrior that overcame alot of his mistakes to give us a fight of the year to a motorcycle accident. I feel the more we see of Golden Boy productions and less of Don King boxing may survive. My dream fight would be to see the Pac-man meet mayweather in the middle for weight and get it on and Miguel Cotto I don’t think would be a walk in the park for Mayweather. There are some fights that can save Boxing.

I have been watching the disintegrtion of boxing since the days of Gillette’s Friday Night Fights. There’s so much wrong with the sport that needs to be corrected nto make it the attraction it once was: besides the obvious how about bad matchmaking(17-0 15ko’s, 22 yrs old vs 21-11, 3ko’s moving up/down in weight, 5 days notice in the opponet’s hometown. Also how about removing the ubiquitous advertising on the canvas. If I want to see slip and slide I’ll go to the waterpark. Even the telecasts need improving. Showtime in particular needs to be called out. I watched the Showtime presentation and couldn”t believe how incompetent they were regarding what was right before their eyes and ears. When Travis Sims was penalized in the 8th round you could hear the ref say it was due to hitting on the break. The broadcasters said it was for holding. Also while there was plenty of justified mention of the refs continued admonition of Sims for holding, after the deduction THE REF DID NOT UTTER ANOTHER WARNING. Could it be because Sims had “home ref” advantage? The ringside twossome also missed the knockdown of Sims(by the way where was the director in all this?) Lastly Berstein and co missed the decision by a few rounds and had the wrong guy. If there’s so much wrong with the game why do I continue to watch? For the same reason my wife watches the crap she does—-fascination,bad taste, and no life

I have a question. I’m looking to somehow enter the field of boxing. Whether it’s thru internship, becoming an official, or cleaning spit. I’m a college graduate with a business degree and haven’t really been interested in staying as a loan officer. Please get back to me with any advice you or anyone you know might provide.
