“The Bronx Bombshell” Maureen Shea (10-0-1NC, 5KO’s) has been scratched of the fight card headlined tomorrow night by John Duddy at the Beacon Theater. Shea’s manager Luigi Olcese shed a sliver of light for the reason for Shea was pulled. “I have nothing but respect for Irish Ropes Promotions,” he said. “Irish Ropes has treated us great. But for business reasons we [Team Shea] felt that it wasn’t in our best interest to fight. I have to look out for what’s best for Maureen. It was a tough decision to make, because believe me Maureen really wanted to fight on the card tomorrow.”
