Happy July 4th, TSS Universe.

I want to take this occasion to thank all the faithful readers of the site; the publisher who makes it possible; the fighters who shed pieces of themselves so that we may marvel at their feats of athleticism and will; and the fightwriters, the best assemblage out there, in my opinion, who take the time to share their insights, analysis and commentary for our reading pleasure.

Please indulge a slight meander off topic, and join me in taking a moment today to give thanks for all the good stuff we enjoy on a daily basis, like a roof over our head, ample sustenance, high speed internet connections, and the amount of freedom we sometimes take for granted. As you gaze at those bombs bursting in air this evening, ponder that most of us are blessed, big time, especially if you take a moment to compare your existence with that of some people in Zimbabwe, Iraq, and persons affected by violent acts of nature, in the Philippines and the US Midwest.

Now, a double ration of rum to members of TSS Universe (or soda if you prefer!).
