I am a member of the NYSAC and have had the absolute pleasure to work with and for Ron for the past five years. Ron has done a tremendous job with bringing boxing back to NY and was finally someone in the role that actually knew boxing.
I am sad to see Ron go, but hope for the sake of boxing that he stays involved in some form or another. Boxing is better sport for having guys like RSS in it.

Ron is a standup guy who always put the health and welfare of the boxers first. I had the pleasure of working w/ Ron when he was a matchmaker for Ced Kushner. He put 100% into his job and was completely organized. New York just lost the real deal!

I am a member of the NYSAC and i would like to say that it was a pleasure to work for Ron as the commissioner. He is a very fair individual and always expected the best from its members. He distributed the work fairly to all refs , judges and inspectors and never shown any favoritism. I am very saddened by the fact that he is leaving and will miss him greatly. I am sure that in his next venture he will be just as successful. Ron, thanks for bringing boxing back to New York and at the same time not using boxing to advance your career, but using yourself to advance the sport of boxing
