BWAA Dinner Date is Set
February 8, 2009 — The 84th Boxing Writers Association of America’s annual awards dinner will be held Friday night, June 12, 2009, at the Capitale, 130 Bowery in New York City. Additional information such as price and hotel availability will be made known in the coming weeks, and the full invitation will be available for viewing and download on this site. Annual BWAA banquets often are held in cities that are hosting live boxing events, and this year is no exception. On the Saturday following the dinner, Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey will fight a welterweight title unification bout at Madison Square Garden.
