LAS VEGAS (Nov. 6, 2009) – A unique United States versus The World pro boxing show that features team scoring competition, showcasing sons of four former world champions, will be held Dec. 12 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino as part of a spectacular “World’s Greatest Ever Boxer” promotion that weekend at the same venue.

IBF No. 6 rated junior middleweight Sechew “Iron Horse” Powell (25-2, 15 KOs), fighting out Brooklyn, takes on Brazilian knockout artist Antonio “Mesquitinha Nejo” Mesquita (35-1, 27 KOs) in the 10-round main event.

The “World’s Greatest Ever Boxing Show,” presented by The World Greatest Ever in association with Seminole Warriors Boxing, is part of a three-day boxing spectacular, Dec. 11-13 at The Paris, climaxing with “The World’s Greatest Ever Boxer” awards dinner the night following the boxing show.

“We’re excited to be presenting a show not only featuring sons of four former world champions, but past Olympians and other amateur stars who all seem destined for greatness in pro boxing,” Chris Heverin, President of Greatest Ever Enterprises, said. “The debate on the Greatest Ever Boxers has been fierce to date and we fully expected the competition in the ring to be equally fierce. Seminole Warrior Boxing has done a great job putting this stellar card together. We currently have a 10-part TV series in production that will air in TV markets worldwide. This entertaining boxing show will play a significant part in it and many of the legends being honored will be attending the show.”

Former world champions and nominees in “The World’s Greatest Boxer” promotion, Aaron “The Hawk” Pryor and Jeff “Marrickville Mauler” Fenech, are Team Captains for the US and World, respectively.
