Tim Graham: WINKSTER CRUISES TO AN UNRIGGED VICTORY
Thursday, December 8th, 2005The only way Winky Wright loses this fight is if there have been a succession of typos and misunderstandings and he’s actually fighting Jose Sulaiman.

Soliman’s as unorthodox as they come. He’s in great condition, physically strong, and willing to cross the line. But none of this matters because Winky’s on a different plane.
Sam Soliman is on a roll but he hasn’t really fought anyone close to the quality of Winky Wright, and his winning run is likely at its end.
Winky Wright has paid his dues. His shutout of Tito Trinidad, and two victories over Shane Mosley, coupled with his six year winning streak demonstrate he is definitely a fighter on top of his game.

Those bread and butter statements will not ring true for Floyd Mayweather when …
Many in boxing are scratching their heads as to why this fight was made. The cynics have one version, the rationalists another. One wonders as well: does Floyd Mayweather understand the laughter going on behind his back in taking on this fraudulent matchup with a fighter – in Sharmba Mitchell – who is clearly not …
